Residents of Amsterdam Zuidoost can get a free and anonymous health check between June 1 and 12. The checks are available at community centers No Limit and Bonte Kraai. A health check can help find health problems early. Many problems can still be treated well at that stage.
What to expect
We check blood pressure and weight and test for diabetes. We also offer tests for diseases like diabetes, hepatitis B and C and HIV. You’ll get the results right away, optionally with:
- advice on how to improve your health
- a referral letter for your general practitioner
- a follow-up appointment at the GGD
You can ask your questions in a safe environment. Everything is open for discussion, and nothing is obligatory.
Walk in
No appointment is needed, and testing is anonymous.
